This is a new title for my page!!!

I thought it was time to rename the site... I no longer have two dogs. Just Charisma, my little companion in nature!
Lately, I have been taking  a lot of photos of things that interest me for future reference. Pehaps they will be paintings or another form of artwork.
I just don't know. I thought it would be good to keep tabs on many ideas and see where they take me.
Here's to a new journey!!!

The SOFA Show in Chicago 2015

More Pieces from SOFA 2015

Glass by Keith and Deanna Clayton.
I met the young artists at one of their first shows in Cleveland. I wish I had purchased something way back when...
The work has only gotten better every year!!! I have watched their skill and collectability soar.

Geoffrey Gorman

These found object sculptures are by artist Geoffrey Gorman. I love the process he uses to create colorful creatures. I had a great talk with Gorman about repurposed materials: canvas, branches, wire, Gorilla Glue, paint and nails. I hope he had a great show!!!

SPRING 2010

The Pond in Fink Park with Willows
Posted by Picasa

Spring 2010

There is something I really love about spring....
The Colors. So faint, at first, just a hint and the first ones I see are the Willows. A slight greening of the branches. More of a yellow, soft from a distance, you can just see it while driving on the highway.
My body feels it, a tiny bit of excitement, re-awakening from dreary winter. And then, in a week or two... S~P~R~I~N~G ! The world is coming back to life. Colors are everywhere. I am revived!

Marc Chagall on Color

I read this quote by Chagall, I thought it was thought provoking!

"All colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites."
